$4 for 389 pages- flat characters- predictable, tired storyline- not worth the money!!!!!!

It bothers me greatly when an author writes a book and decides to divide it up into parts. This series is no exception. Part 1 was free, then Part 2 was free because I had Kindle Unlimited- to those of you who don't have KU it would cost you 99 cents. Part 3 costs 2.99 regardless- for all of us.....So, in all, you pay 3.99 for the entire book. Sigh.....I wish I could say the "series" was worth it but, I can't. Fortunately, you can get millions of free books written just as good or better than this one. This story has been told before in many, many different ways by thousands of authors. Was it good....sure...was it great enough to warrant paying 4 dollars for? No. The book never fleshed out....demon vs. vampire is an old theme and can get boring after several hundred pages of it- like this book did. Actually, only the last 20 pages of the entire series was any good. The rest of the book dragged us along with boring, one- dimensional characters using a well worn theme. It ,definitely, isn't worth the money!!! This author isn't a mainstream published author(not certain how famous- but, I've never heard of her and I read 2 books a day by voice reader) Seems like I would've come across her works if she were a NY times best seller.... So, in saying that, this author wants us to pay 4 dollars for 389 pages of work. That's almost 1 dollar and 20 cents for every hundred pages of work. A famous published author- a publishing house author- asks us to pay 4.99 to 6.99 for 400 to 700 pages of work. a dollar or less a page. Now, I believe an Amazon writer needs to remember that we are the buyers, publicity and marketing for this author.. Do us wrong and we don't buy books. This price point is wrong ladies...period. You should NEVER be asked to pay more for an unknown author than you do for a famous one. Just my opinion.....

This was really good. I really enjoyed it. A lot of action, and it was very interesting. This is kind of the beginning, so it's mysterious and a little creepy. But it was awesome. Happy reading.

Lots of twists and turns keep the reader on the edge of their seat. Definitely worth the time to read.
